You might not know about The Eltham Pub but let’s just say the locals certainly do. Situated in the Byron Hills it is truly a must go. An authentic taste of both an Aussie country pub and small-town wonder – serving great quality (not to mention delicious) food, live music and cold beers to boot. And the best part….you don’t have to drive – leave that to us! Throw in 4X4 troopy session, a stop off along the way at photo-worthy scenic vistas, a roam around the small picturesque town of Newrybar – there you have yourselves a perfect day out with the crew.
This is the classic day tour, where we show you the best (and secret) local spots in the area. We’ll pick you and your friends up in an epic Troop Carrier 4X4 before your local guide will take you off-road for a little play in the mud (the troopy loves it). Then venture into the Byron Hinterland, where there are photo ops galore. Arriving at The Eltham Pub just in time for a classic Australian pub lunch, with a few beverages if you please. Next, it’s off to check out the stunning local town of Newrybar. Finishing the day off with a scenic drive home. Happy days.

Our Mojo guide will pick you up and have the tunes on and ready to go. Firstly it’s time for the obligatory play in the mud with the Troopy, if there's time the guide will stop at some private land and take the Troopy through its paces before setting off on your day off to some classic local spots.Â

The drive itself from Byron Bay to Eltham is beautiful, green rolling hills with big trees. We’ll stop off at the iconic St Helena Lookout where a photo op awaits, the lookout looks out toward Mullumbimby, Brunswick Heads and Byron Bay and is frequented by most travellers. Now if you haven't heard of the Eltham Pub we wouldn't blame you, the locals do well to keep this one secret. Under new ownership, the Eltham is a must with its new menu and stunning renovations, this place will have you and your buddies truly content.

Exploring small towns
After your tasty lunch and a few beverages, our coach will take you to through the unique town of Newrybar. Newrybar, best known for its exceptional hatted restaurant ‘Harvest’ is one of the hinterlands most picturesque towns. With a little corner store, the beloved driftlab clothing store, Harvest and Newrybar Merchants it still has a lot to explore. When you are ready we will take you home via more scenic routes and drop you back to where it all started. After good food, good views and good vibes we’ll drop you back to your drop off location.
