Since 1998, Mojo have been putting people on surfboards, creating epic memories and helping people from all walks of life learn or develop their skills to enable them to take it to the next level, whatever that may mean for them. We’ve had people in their 80’s, to little 5 year old grommies coming through the ranks and have produced surfers competing at the highest international level whilst working with coaches who have been at the top of the world game and who still shred today. It probably comes as no surprise then, to find that we’ve learnt a thing or two about the way people learn, how to help them develop efficiently and achieve their personal goals and be the best version of themselves in and out of the water!

So, based on all this, we decided it was high time we put together a shorter package that helped people push their limits and hone their skills to be the best they can whilst still having a great time in the process…

Enter, the Mojosurf Develop-Mental package!  

We’ve teamed up with absolute legend and world-famous surfer, Matt ‘Wilko’ Wilkinson, absolute shredder and WSL competitor Shaun Cansdell and Michaela Werner at Apnea Australia to offer a product that not only covers all parts of surfing and technique with video analysis from the aforementioned legends and our own highly trained coaches, but also extends to surf fitness, endurance and breathing techniques to give you the grounding and peace of mind to know you can take a hiding at a slabbing hollow bomb and know the hold down is well within your capabilities. Your general fitness and state of mind will also be heightened to allow you to really enjoy every water experience and always feel in control. After over 20 years of guiding and developing surfers at varying levels, we feel that the fear of being ‘out of your depth’ (yes we went there) can be one of the most challenging areas for improvement and one we are happily addressing in this new product range.

With daily surf evaluations, surf fitness training and a freediving theory and technique session, you’ll learn your real limitations and get comfortable with what you genuinely can and can’t do, as well as how to develop those skills further, apply them in real surf situations and read the conditions to ensure you’re always going out in the right place, at the right time. We’ll be hunting the breaks and banks of the day in our epic Troopy Carriers and getting some fun old dune bashing in there for good measure too. We’ll also help you learn to condition yourself and increase your surf fitness, so the next time a massive low chucks some heavy hollow ones to your home break, you’ll be ready and waiting with a smile on your face, eager to go out there and tear it up!

With an optional board shaping session with Shaun Cansdell producing your very own custom stick, axe throwing, jet ski tow-in practice, options to mountain bike on the local trails and a night out with the crew, every day is a little slice of epicness!
