Travel between Sydney and Byron Bay (or Brisbane) stopping at our awesome surf camp at Spot X. This is an award-winning surf adventure tour. You will cruise up or down Australia’s East Coast on an action-packed week of surfing, beach and campfire parties, exploration and relaxation.

DEPARTS

This awesome trip goes one of 3 ways:

North, up the coast, departing from Sydney and ending in Byron Bay or Brisbane*
South, down the coast, departing from Byron Bay or Brisbane* and ending in Sydney
Optionally, you can book any of our trips as return trips
*Brisbane departures and arrivals incur an extra $36 each way payable on arrival at Spot X Surf Camp

PICK UPS

Departs Sundays

Sydney – 7:09am Train from Central station arriving in Coffs Harbour at 15:57 where our Spot X ream will collect you and shuttle you to Spot X for an afternoon chill on the Beach – dinner and a good sleep before your first lesson the next morning

Byron Bay – due to Greyhound scheduling we will advise your departure time when booking your transfer

Brisbane – due to Greyhound scheduling we will advise your departure time when booking your transfer – (additional cost $36.00)

  1. Day 1 Depart and Overnight Transfer

    Jump on an overnight transfer from Sydney to the legendary beachfront surf camp – Spot X.

  2. Day 2-3 Arrive at Spot X Camp and start surfing

    Arrive into Spot X surf camp and grab some breaky. Then kick off with your first surf lesson.

    Spend the next three days learning how to surf from the pros with two surf sessions a day. Even if you’re a complete beginner, the instructors cater for all levels and will have you riding a wave in no time.

    Between surfs there’s loads of fun to be had with plenty of other activities on offer around the camp. Your three delicious meals a day will give you loads of energy for hitting the waves!

    At night, enjoy a drink around the campfire, join in on some games or have an early night so you are energised to hit the waves in the morning. Meals: B/L/D

  3. Day 4 Depart Spot X Surf Camp

    After surfing in the morning and lunch, it will be time to hop on the bus and head to the famous town of Byron Bay. You will have time to check into your accommodation of choice (not included) and hit the town Mojo style! Meals: B/L

Accommodation Overview

We head to our purpose-built, beachfront surf camp Spot X where you’ll spend the next few days. Here you’ll learn to surf on our great learner friendly surf beaches. Find out more about Spot X here.

It won’t take you long before you’ve surfed up an appetite and our chefs have you covered. Buffet style breakfast, lunch and dinner will keep you full and ready for all the action.

ACCOMMODATION

After dinner you might want to head around the fire, have a drink, socialise and head to bed nice and early for another day of beachside fun... or you might be ready to party. Whatever you're in the mood for, we've got you covered.

By the time your trip is done with us you'll have made unforgettable memories, lifelong friends and you'll have surfed and lived the dream! We'll drop you off in either Sydney, Byron Bay or Brisbane where you can continue on your surfing/travel journey with your newfound mates.
