Overview
Spend 11 awesome days at 2 Mojosurf Camps learning to surf and enjoying the beach lifestyle, it’s the next step towards becoming an intermediate surfer. You’ll jump on our comfortable transport and head to our purpose built surf camp (Spot X) where you’ll spend the next 8 days.
Our surf camp is right on the beach… even if you’re the slowest walker it might only take you a minute to get from your room to beach! There you’ll learn to surf on our great learner friendly surf beaches.
Live like a surfer at our Mojosurf Camp at Spot X and Byron, get to know the crew, the area and most of all the waves!

Itinerary
Day 1
Spot X
Arrival Day – Byron or Spot X
If you arrive South from Brisbane you'll spend your two nights of activities and at our Byron Bay surf camp. If you arrive North from Sydney you'll arrive at Spot X and start your surf trip here and then go to Byron for the last 2 nights.
Day 2-8
Spot X
Arrive at Spot X Camp and start surfing
Arrive into Spot X surf camp and grab some breaky. Then kick off with your first surf lesson.
Spend the next three days learning how to surf from the pros with two surf sessions a day. Even if you’re a complete beginner, the instructors cater for all levels and will have you riding a wave in no time.
Between surfs there’s loads of fun to be had with plenty of other activities on offer around the camp. Your three delicious meals a day will give you loads of energy for hitting the waves!
At night, enjoy a drink around the campfire, join in on some games or have an early night so you are energised to hit the waves in the morning.
Day 9
Byron Bay
1 Surf session, Breakfast, Lunch, Transfer to Byron Bay
After surfing in the morning and lunch, it will be time to hop on the bus and head to the famous town of Byron Bay. You will have time to check into your accommodation and hit the town Mojo style!
If you came North you spend your last nights at Spot x and your first nights in Byron.
Day 10
Byron Bay
Surf Byron Bay, Breakfast
Up early for breakfast and surf lesson with the Byron Mojo team. You have the afternoon free to explore the town, relax on the beach or hang at the camp. At night head out with your friends and the Mojo crew.
Day 11
Byron Bay
1 Surf session, Breakfast
Up early for breakfast, check out and your last surf lesson. Stay longer in Byron Bay or head off to your next destination.
Accommodation
Mojosurf Camp Spot X, NSW
North of Sydney and Coffs Harbour and south of Byron Bay is our absolute beachfront Spot X Surf Camp located in the surf town of Arrawarra. A place totally devoted to the surf lifestyle. Located in a National Marine Park, Spot X Surf Camp provides a unique opportunity to spend time in one of Australia’s most beautiful coastal areas.
Long days in the sun and waves leading to memorable nights around the camp fire, Spot X is truly a place you don’t want to miss. Great food, awesome staff and comfortable, clean accommodation.
Even if you’re the slowest walker it might only take you a minute to get from your room to beach! There you’ll learn to surf on our great learner friendly surf beaches. You’ll stay in one of our cool 2-6 share dorm cabins or 4 share tipi’s, with all your bedding included. Some cabins have small en-suites, the others have amenities close-by. Upgrades are available on request to a twin/double room or waterfront cabin but are an additional cost and subject to availability (contact Mojo direct for this).
Mojosurf Camp Byron Bay
From the moment you arrive in Byron Bay you will feel a real surfy, artsy vibe, which will reach its peak when you arrive at the Mojosurf Camp in Byron Bay, located by the world famous Arts Factory lodge.
The Mojosurf Camp Byron Bay is the perfect place to meet new friends, surf together, and explore the sights of Byron. There are numerous other activities and workshops around town. In down time you can just chill by the pool, relax in a hammock, or even join in a game of table tennis, pool, basketball or volleyball. It is also only a 10 minute walk into town which is ideal for exploring all the sights and relaxing on the beach.
You will stay in a Mojo teepee village or shared dorm accommodation during winter. There are shared bathroom and kitchen facilities and a cafe on site. There are twin and double upgrade options, however, these are subject to availability and you need to contact Mojo directly to confirm.
