Byron Bay comes alive with garage sales every weekend. Although a garage sale doesn’t always have surfboards, it’s a high chance given the majority of locals that surf. Garage sales are generally on a Saturday or Sunday morning from early and the best way to find them is to simply drive around Byron looking for them.
There are a few places in Byron that sell second-hand boards as well as new. Simply do a google search for second-hand surfboards Byron Bay and this will deliver you a list. Here are some examples of places:
